With the decision of Head of OPT Managing Authority № OPT - 10 on 19.09.2008 was approved granting for the project "Technical assistance for preparation of project Electrification and reconstruction of railway Svilengrad - Turkish border". The project is funded under Priority axes V from OPT. The total amount of the project is 70 200 BGN. The grand by European fund for Regional Development is 59 670 BGN, which is 85% of the total amount. The beneficiary of the project is "National Railway Infrastructure Company".
