7 candidates for Sofia Metro Extension Project

Today, 19.06.2008 at 14:00 h. in the office building of "Metropolitan" JSC - Sofia, 42 "Todor Aleksandrov" Str., fl.4, Conference Room, were opened the offers regarding the announced open procedure for awarding with contract of a public procurement under PPA for: Selection of  a contractor of Sofia Metro Extension Project - II diameter; Section: "Road junction Nadezhda - Cental Railway Station - Sveta Nedelya Sq. - NPC - Cherni Vrah Blvd.", including construction of 3 metro stations, section tunnels with length of 4.42 km, architectural-construction and electric-mechanical part of the whole section with length of 6.4 km and 7 metro stations. The opening of the offers was performed by a committee assigned with an order by the Executive Director of the Beneficiary ("Metropolitan" JSC) eng. Stoyan Bratoev. In this committee are included representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finances, Sofia Municipality, Auditors' Association of Bulgarian National Audit Office and specialists of "Metropoliten" JSC.

For the first separate lot there have been submitted offers by:

"DOGUS", "Hochtief - GBS" Joint Venture, "Obrascon Huarte Lain S.A.", "FCC - Astaldi" (Joint Venture);

            For the second separate lot:

 "Stanilov" Ltd., "FCC - Astaldi" (Joint Venture), "Geotehmin" Ltd., "Metro Treis" Joint Venture.
