Project “Electrification and reconstruction of Svilengrad-Turkish Border railway line”

With the decision of Head of OPT Managing Authority № OPT - 19 on 21.05.2009 was approved granting for the project "Electrification and reconstruction of Svilengrad - Turkish Border railway line". The project is funded under Priority axes I "Development of railway infrastructure along the major national and Pan-European transport Axes" from OPT. The total amount of the project is 85 823 590,80 BGN. The amount of eligible expenditures for the project is 58 274 218,15 BGN. The grant by Cohesion fund is 46 619 374,52 BGN. The beneficiary of the project is the National Railway Infrastructure Company.
